16th December is the day of tragic memory when Pakistan was dismembered, a wedge was driven between two brothers as part of Indian intrigue which still continues. At present, New Delhi has been supporting separatism in Balochistan, Sindh, and insurgency in the Frontier Province in order to further weaken the federation of Pakistan. Here I would not spare the Pakistani leadership to have provided the Indian wolves an opportunity on the plate.

There is huge campaign going on in our country, despite the fact that our President has gone on record saying that India is not our enemy, that India is sponsoring militancy in Balochistan and FATA. It is music to the ears of many of us who have been raise on a continuous diet of India-bashing which goes on uncontrolled in our country. In fact, the more anti-India you are the more nationalistic and patriotic you are considered to be.
However, let us consider it for a moment. An Indian Muslim friend of mine, whom I met in Norway in a seminar would tell me that there is a beeline of Pakistani dissidents in front of Indian missions abroad. They are seeking Indian patronage which India is resisting at the moment. There might be some links somewhere which we should not unnecessarily exaggerate and turn it into a self-fulfilling prophecy. After all, we have invented this strategy of subversion in this region and should not expect our so-called enemies not to use it against us. But Indian help for the Balochis, if at all it is there, would be too marginal. Look for example, if India were to arm Balochis, whom we have effectively alienated by our display of brute power, would it be as manageable for us as it is now? Here contrast our approach with India's approach in Kashmir and the north-east. Have they taken recourse to helicopter gun-ships or pounding of terrorist locations with disproportionate firepower? As far as the other allegation of Indo-US manipulations in the FATA is concerned, would India and the US have any access to Baitullah who is so reflexively anti-US? We are imagining too much when some of us are even saying that Baitullah may not be aware of it but he is helped by the CIA and RAW. If we would like to give credit to US and Indian intelligence for all this we can do so only to prove to the world that we are so irredeemably paranoid and suffer from hallucination. Would we do that?

Great, great comment, Aslam.
The denialism and old anti-Indian/US/Zionist un-imaginative narrow vision is sadly still alive, when every other hard evidence has shown us the contrary, while continuously contradicting themselves.
You can replace India in the title with Pakistan, which would sadly be more accurate:
"Pakistan, a Rogue State: No Neighbour is Safe"
And that is exactly what Pakistan became. It is like fighting imaginary monsters everywhere only to find out that you were the real monster.
Sorry if I'm sounding harsh...but while Aslam may have used care and logic, I am growing tired with the Zaid Hamid nonsense and the like.
